MechaTech Systems are the only UK Freeze Dryer manufacturers.
Severn Science launched its own range of freeze dryers when Edwards High Vacuum (also known as BOC Edwards) stopped manufacturing the Modulyo range of freeze dryers. Following the closure of Severn Science Ltd, MechaTech Systems purchased the intellectual property rights and are, today, the only UK manufacturers of the LyoScience (LS) range of freeze dryers.
The LyoScience (LS) range of freeze dryers are designed and manufactured on our premises near Bristol, UK. Each element of manufacture is accessible to our customers and our freeze dryers are fully supported in the UK, keeping cost of ownership low and maintenance simple.
MechaTech Systems also have the flexibility to offer a bespoke product tailored to individual requirements, and offer design, manufacture, installation and end user training.
MechaTech Systems offer you a specialist and comprehensive knowledge base in the field of freeze dryer manufacture, including the service and maintenance of the Supermodulyo and Modulyo, as well as many other well known brands.
We also provide a control upgrade service for your existing freeze dryer system, which can offer a significant saving over the purchase of a new machine.
If freeze drying is a new application for your business and you’re just beginning r&d, then we also hire freeze dryer systems for you to test your process before making a capital investment.
